Why am I a Financial Coach?
Have you ever looked at your life and thought that there must be something more than what you are doing? Have you ever thought that you could do something more to actually help people succeed in life and better themselves? The answer to these questions in my own life is the result of following God and trusting Him with my path. Eight years ago I accepted my call to be a pastor and I have been working towards that goal ever since. Financial coaching is another step along the path to this goal. What I have learned thus far in being a financial coach is that there are a lot of people that are struggling and truly need hope and God has blessed me to be able to do just that. Being a financial coach for me is not necessarily about the money, though helping people become good stewards of their money is a huge part of it, the main drive and motivation is to be able to truly help people in their lives.
Some of you are probably starting to check out right now, so I’ll get to the point. Think about your life right now, all the different aspects of it, and try to think of five things in your life that have nothing to do with your finances. If you were able to do that then you are doing better than me, because as I sit here I literally cannot think of one thing. How we handle our money has a huge impact on our entire lives, so when we are struggling with our finances or have questions about whether or not we are doing the right things with our finances it tends to seep over into every aspect of our lives and can very quickly have a negative impact on our lives.
The reason that I am a financial coach is simple…I want to help people. That’s it. There is nothing special about me or my abilities, I don’t feel as though I have everything figured out in life and want to fix people, I simply want to help people and being a financial coach allows me the opportunity to do just that in a way that many people truly could use. I know what it feels like to have nothing and to wonder how a bill is going to get paid. I know what it feels like to be on the verge of losing everything. I also know the redemptive qualities of following Jesus Christ and learning to follow His precepts. I know what it feels like to no longer be enslaved by indebtedness and I know what it feels like to be able to help people financially when the need arises.
If you are struggling right now or if you just have some questions about whether or not there is something better that you could be doing with your finances then please get in touch with me. You won’t know the answer to your question unless you ask. All information is kept private, because no one needs to know about your life unless you tell them. The only risk involved is not doing anything, so if you are ready to get answers to your questions then let’s set up an appointment so that you can get some answers to your questions so that you can make the most of your money on your path to financial freedom.
