Start saving money by finding things to do on the weekend that don’t involve spending money like going on walks or hikes, maybe going to a free zoo or to the park. There are plenty of things that we can do that don’t involve spending money.

Valentine’s Day is also this week and there are great ideas for saving money while still celebrating your love. Take for example making a meal to share at home by candlelight. This is less expensive than going out to eat plus it is actually more memorable. Get out the fancy dishes and dress up and enjoy spending one on one time with one another.

Making small changes to our habits adds up to making a huge difference in our finances over time.
